StarClan
Territory
StarClan's territory lies in the skies above the Clans, in Silverpelt. It can be reached through the Moonstone, Moonpool, or when a Clan cat passes away. Their territory is in a sort of afterlife with a lush atmosphere, bodies of water, trees, and abdundant prey for cats to find. StarClan's extraterrestrial territory borders a much more frightening place called the Dark Forest. The Dark Forest is where spirits of Clan cats go when they have been deemed unfit for StarClan by members of StarClan. Essentially, it is where the villains and antagonists of the series may end up. The Dark Forest is lit by an eerie atmosphere with foggy trees and black, sludgy water that is dangerous to fall into. There is a tunnel between StarClan and Dark Forest territory. Other than the Dark Forest, there are no longer borders between Clans in StarClan.

Values
StarClan cats are best known for their wisdom and their wonder. Living cats have faith in StarClan to give them advice, send omens, and be a comfortable place for an afterlife. They see StarClan as a magical, awe-inspiring place Clan that knows more than the living Clans do. They believe StarClan is wise and will try their best to guide the living Clans. Although, it is important to mention that not all Clan cats believe in, or always trust StarClan. StarClan has made mistakes in the series before, and it has caused cats to doubt their ancestors, or decide to take decisions into their own hands (or paws!). These moments and events don't necessarily mean that StarClan dislikes these cats, punishes these choices, or will make them go to the Dark Forest after death.

Important Cats

Important cats in StarClan all originally came from the living Clans. Additionally, StarClan's size is vast with all the cats who used to live in the Clans both recently and long ago. There are some cats that are seen giving omens, advice, and promises to living protagonists more often than others, but these cats vary for each protagonist and their life, and may have been a living protagonist themselves in the series as well. Some of these cats are from Clans or early versions of Clans from long ago, and their names may look slightly different from the names of modern cats. A few of the many examples of cats who play at least one important role in StarClan would be:
- Moth Flight - the first medicine cat ever and WindClan's first medicine cat
- Bluestar - an important, thoughtful ThunderClan leader
- Yellowfang - a ThunderClan medicine cat that escaped ShadowClan when it was under the rule of a cruel leader, Brokenstar
- Deadfoot - a loyal deputy in WindClan who had a twisted foot
- Tallstar - a thoughtful, kind leader that led WindClan for many moons
- Crookedstar - a loyal, brave leader with a twisted jaw that led RiverClan for many moons
- Brambleberry - a kind RiverClan medicine cat
- Leafpool - a ThunderClan medicine cat that secretly had kits, even though medicine cats aren't allowed to
- Cloudstar - a courageous, resourceful SkyClan leader that helped his Clan survive through the ruin of their territory
- Fluttering Bird - a kind, small cat that died in a group long before the Clans existed, and helped guide their first leaders
- Half Moon - an ancient kind, thoughtful cat that led the group that preceded the Clans
- Rock - an ancient rough, hairless, and blind cat from long ago
