Elijah's Closet

When Elijah Lee, a teenager from Virginia, noticed that some of his classmates were being bullied for wearing the same clothes every day, he decided to take action. With compassion and determination, he started Elijah’s Closet, a program that collects and gives free clothes to students in need. What began as a small effort at his local school quickly grew into a community initiative supported by local organizations and schools across the country. Elijah’s mission is simple but powerful — to make sure every child feels confident, respected, and loved — showing that even one young person’s kindness can spark change in an entire community.
