Help with hands-on projects that support orangutan conservation.
OFT partners with rehabilitation centers and forest restoration teams that welcome volunteers to assist with:
- Preparing food for rescued orangutans
- Cleaning and maintaining enclosures
- Helping plant trees at reforestation sites
- Observing orangutan behavior for research
- Supporting community education programs
Adopt an Orangutan
Adopters recieve:
- A digital certificate with the orangutan's name and photo
- Monthly updates on rehabilitation progress
- A profile explaining their rescue story
Funds help cover food, medical care, and forest-school training.
Join Our Events & Field Programs
OFT hosts workshops, virtual talks, and forest-education trips where people can learn from real conservation workers.
Events include:
- "A Day in Forest School" livestream
- Guest speakers from wildlife rescue teams
- Reforestation meet-ups
- Community clean-up days
- Online Q&A sessions with caretakers and researchers
